Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Strong typhoon hit central and northeast Japan on Sept. 21 and 22.

Death toll from Typhoon Roke reached 11 in Japan, with five people remaining missing.

Train services were halted and some 5 000 people were stranded.
