Beijing, September 26 (KCNA correspondent) -- Wen Jiabao, premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, hosted a banquet for Choe Yong Rim, premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, at the People's Great Hall on September 26.

Present there on invitation were Premier Choe Yong Rim, Ro Tu Chol, vice premier of the DPRK, Ri Su Yong, chairman of the Committee of Joint Venture and Investment of the DPRK, Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Kim Sok Jun, minister of State Construction Control, Kim Pong Chol, minister of Commerce, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Song Gi, vice-foreign minister, Ri Jong Chol, vice-minister of Metal Industry, and Ji Jae Ryong, DPRK ambassador to China.

Present there together with Wen Jiabao were the vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League, Zhang Ping, head of the National Development and Reform Committee, Chen Deming, Minister of Commerce, Zhang Zhijun, Executive Vice－Minister of Foreign Affairs, Liu Hongcai, Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK, the vice-minister of Culture, Liu Zhenmin, assistant to the foreign minister, and the secretary of the premier.

An art performance was given by Chinese artistes at the banquet.
