Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- The Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain on Sept. 18 posted an article titled "Juche Idea and World Conference" on the internet homepage 'One Corea Network ".

The article referred to the facts that President Kim Il Sung embarked upon the road of revolution at his early age, founding the Juche idea and thoroughly applying it to the revolution and construction and that leader Kim Jong Il developed it in depth the Juche idea and generalized and systematized it through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

The article recalled that groups for the study of the Juche Idea came into being in more than 100 countries in the wake of the birth of the first study group in Mali, Africa in 1969 and they rapidly gained in scope and strength worldwide as evidenced by the appearance of the International Institute of Juche Idea and study groups in different continents one after another.

The study and dissemination of the Juche idea have got brisk in various countries and regions and on a global scale generation after generation, the article noted, and went on:

The participants of the national seminar on the Juche Idea held in Bangladesh in March proposed holding a world conference on the Juche Idea in Pyongyang in April 2012.

The groups for the study of the Juche idea across the world warmly responded to it.

The 13th Enlarged Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the IIJI decided to convene a grand world conference on the Juche idea in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, the motherland of the Juche idea, in 2012, the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung.

This makes everybody keenly realize once again what great influence the Juche idea has and how great Kim Il Sung, the founder of the Juche idea, and his successor Kim Jong Il are.
