Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- More than 2 000 wildfires in the past ten months have caused an estimated economic loss of 3.4 billion U.S. dollars for east Texas' timber industry and 2 151 wildfires have charred 840.6 million square meters of land (207 763 acres) and destroyed 4.95 million cubic meters (175 million cubic feet) of timber since the start of the wildfire season last November, according to a U.S. media on Friday.
