Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA)--The number of suicide cases is now on the increase in the south Korean army.

This was disclosed by "the 2011 report on the policy of the ground force" released by the ground force on Sept. 24.

According to it, the number of suicide cases is on an annual increase in the army. The number of those who committed suicide in the ground force last year reached nearly half of the cases of civilian suicide.

This was attributable to the prevalence of violence and other malpractices in the army.
