Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, issued a statement on Sept. 20 on the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Leader Kim Jong Il has strengthened the WPK founded by President Kim Il Sung into an invincible party winning victory after victory thanks to the might of the ideology, the statement said, and went on:

The world history of politics records many politicians and leaders but never has there been such leader as Kim Jong Il who has performed great ideological and theoretical feats with his gifted wisdom.

His famous works including "Socialism Is a Science" instilled faith in the victory of socialism and courage into the revolutionary parties and progressive people of the world who were at a loss where to go.

The progressive parties and people aspiring after socialism pay highest tribute to Kim Jong Il who provided them with encyclopedic ideological and theoretical wherewithal for accomplishing the socialist cause despite tempests of history and developed the WPK into an invincible party, thereby indicating wide avenues for the world socialist movement.
