Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) -- A national public presentation of scientific and technological achievements in the field of fish farming was held here on Sept. 27 and 28.

Its participants heard more than 40 papers helpful to satisfactorily solving the issue of fish food and developing fish farming.

Achievements made in researches into using rice straw fermentation as fish food, the additive fish food by use of Kumgang medicinal stone, the production of ferment fish food by use of protein-rich grass, etc. drew interest of the attendants for their practical significance.

Attracting their attention were successes made in settling scientific and technological issues arising in putting fish farming on a scientific and intensive basis.

Minister of Fisheries Pak Thae Won, officials concerned, scientists, technicians and teachers of universities were among those present at the closing ceremony held on Wednesday.
