Pyongyang, September 28 (KCNA) --The Korean people have registered many achievements in scientific and technological development over the past one year since a historic conference of the Workers' Party of Korea was held.

The Kim Jong Thae Locomotive Complex has made AC locomotive "Songun Pulgungi" No. 1 with asynchronous motor.

The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, in the wake of the establishment of a new steel production system, reconditioned furnace No. 3 of the hot rolling shop as a high-temperature air combustion one based on the CNC technology to begin producing rolled steel sheets in July.

A nationwide teleeducation system has been established at the Grand People's Study House.

The Academy of Koryo Medicine and the Korean Computer Center have jointly finished establishing a nationwide telemedicine service system.
