Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hor Namhong, addressing the UNGA session on Monday, called upon the international community to positively cope with the food and energy crisis.

"Food and energy security are still major issues of global concern," Namhong said.

High oil prices, said Namhong, have obstructed developing countries from reducing poverty and meeting the targets set by the Millennium Development Goals. He stressed that the international community should immediately take effective steps to settle this knotty problem.
