Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- Chongsokjong, also called Thongchonkumgang, is one of the tourist resorts on the east coast of Korea.

It is situated in the town of Thongchon County, Kangwon Province.

Spectacular are volcanic rocks standing in groups or in singles in limpid water.

According to a legend, talented stonemasons trimmed them for many years.

Conspicuous in Chongsokjong are fairy peak, stone bridge, couple rocks and turtle rock.

Sunrise seen from Chongsokjong and its night view are amazing.
