Havana, September 29 (KCNA) -- Ricardo Alarcon, president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, recently urged again the U.S. to release Cuban patriots at once.

Alarcon said that Cuba considers the five people as "heroes" who fought against terrorism. The U.S. has unreasonably detained them for spy allegations. They have done nothing harmful to the U.S. security, he noted.

Normal relations between Havana and Washington are "unthinkable" without the release of five Cubans jailed in the United States, he added.
