Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- The Egyptian foreign minister in a recent speech at the UNGA session on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement clarified the stand of the NAM for supporting the establishment of the Palestinian independent state.

He reiterated the group's support to "the historical struggle of the brotherly Palestinian people to regain their legitimate rights as well as the movement's support to the efforts exerted toward declaring the establishment of the independent state of Palestine with East Kuds as its capital and its admission as a full member of the United Nations."

Condemning the Israeli authorities for persisting in killing Palestinians, blockading Gaza and building Jewish settlements, he said that it is meaningless to debate on the process of peace under such situation.
