Beijing, September 29 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Chinese Defense Ministry in a press conference on Sept. 28 condemned the U.S. arms sale to Taiwan.

The Chinese army feels strong resentment at the U.S. current plan for arms sale to Taiwan and is resolutely opposed to it, he said.

He urged the U.S. to honor its commitment with the Chinese side over the Taiwan issue, stop selling arms and support the peaceful development of the cross-Straits relations with practical actions.
