Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- Civic organizations in Japan jointly adopted a written request urging the government to hold negotiations with the south Korean regime to settle the issue of comfort women for the Imperial Japanese Army on Sept. 27.

The request said that the Japanese government has turned down the demand of the victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army for their reinstatement since they testified in 1991.

It urged the Japanese government to hold negotiations with the south Korean regime to solve the issue at an early date.
