Moscow, September 29 (KCNA) -- Russia's narcotic control police staged a training for preventing drug traffic in cooperation with the Defense Ministry in the northern part of Caspian Sea on Tuesday.

Over 500 soldiers and policemen, military planes and vessels participated in the training.

The training, waged on the sidelines of the strategic exercise called "Center-2011", was aimed to improve the operation capacity for checking drug traffic from Afghanistan through Caspian Sea.
