Moscow, September 30 (KCNA) -- Two strategic bombers Tu-160 of the Russian Air Force recently conducted patrol flights in the sky above the neutral waters of the Arctic Ocean.

The bombers which took off from Murmansk Region received air-refueling from refueling tanker Il-78 in more than 16 hour flight and their crew trained aeronautics in the sky where direction judgment is difficult.

This was clarified by the Russian Defense Ministry on Sept. 28. All the flights of the Russian Air Force planes were and are being conducted, strictly under the international regulations on the use of the sky above neutral waters and not encroaching upon the borders of other countries, it stressed.
