Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry on Sept. 28 called for decisive action to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian and other Arab territories.

The Sri Lankan government maintains its support for a Palestinian state with East Kuds as its capital, the ministry said.

"To retake the rights of the Palestinians and achieve lasting peace in the Middle East, Israel must put an end to all illegal Jewish settlement activities including the continued campaign of colonization that has resulted in the fragmentation of the Palestinian territories," it stressed.
