Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Aung Thein Lynn, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party, Union of Myanmar, congratulated General Secretary Kim Jong Il on his successful visits to Russia and China in the statement on Sept. 26.

The statement referred to his historic tours of Russia and China, adding:

The immortal exploits by Kim Jong Il in developing the traditional DPRK-Russia and DPRK-China friendly relations greatly encouraged progressive mankind of the world desirous of independence, peace and friendship.

His historic visits to those countries greatly contributed to the regional development, the global peace and security and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence.

The Korean people are working miracles in every work site, firmly determined to bring pleasure to Kim Jong Il who made an immortal contribution to developing the relations with those countries and pushing forward socialist construction.

Rosy future is in store for Songun Korea led by Kim Jong Il.
