Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Flood damage caused by two months of heavy rains is increasing in Thailand.

The flood left 173 persons dead and two others missing as of Sept. 28.

37 roads and railways in different sections were inundated in 21 provinces, paralyzing traffic.

A total of the victims is over 1.9 million. The relief work is under way.
