Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- The Syrian paper Al Baath on Sept. 25 dedicated one whole page to a travelogue of the DPRK by its delegation under the title "People's Korea: life created with will". The travelogue said: The Korean people look up to President Kim Il Sung who founded the Juche idea centered on the popular masses and led the Korean revolution to victory under its banner. The Juche idea helped the DPRK turn into a country possessed of the powerful nuclear deterrent capable of resolutely beating back any aggressor forces. The President passed away on July 8, 1994. The Korean people have preserved him in state at the Kumsusan Memorial Palace. Many Koreans and foreigners visit it everyday to express yearning for him in humble reverence. The travelogue said the delegation visited the President's birthplace at Mangyongdae, the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the International Friendship Exhibition House, the e-library of Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm and the Central Zoo. Referring to the impression of the grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang", the travelogue said the DPRK clearly proved in practice that to valiantly struggle for socialism against imperialism and colonialism is the way for realizing justice and equality and that strong will creates a beautiful life. The paper carried photos on the panoramic view of Pyongyang City and the delegation's visit to the DPRK. |
