Tehran, October 2 (KCNA) -- Iran is channeling sustained and big efforts into bolstering its naval force

The deputy commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Iran in an interview with the IRNA on Sept. 28 announced the plan to build an aircraft carrier.

The basic designs for this were approved and the building will start soon, he said.
