Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- German Ambassador to the DPRK Gerhard Thiedemann gave a reception at his embassy Monday on the German national day.

Present there on invitation were Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ri Jong Hyok, chairman of the DPRK-Germany Friendship Parliamentary Group, O Ryong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Trade, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and others and diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international organizations here.

Staff members of the German embassy were on hand.

Speeches were made at the reception.
