Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "The Workers' Party of Korea Is a Juche-Type Revolutionary Party Which Inherited the Glorious Tradition of the DIU" was brought out in booklet by the Antri Miek Publishing House of Cambodia.

The work, published on October 17, Juche 71 (1982), clarifies the significance of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) and the idea that the WPK is a glorious party with a long history and a revolutionary party which hewed out a new path of its development. It deals with the fact that the WPK is a revolutionary party of Juche type conducting revolutionary activities independently and creatively, guided by the Juche idea, and the idea on the position and role of the party in accomplishing the cause of socialism.

A book releasing ceremony took place at the publishing house on Sept. 29.
