Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification issued a statement on October 1 on the 65th anniversary of the October people's resistance.

The October people's resistance that swept throughout south Korea was a struggle to disclose the true colors of the U.S. forces who occupied south Korea under the guise of "liberator" and judge their misrule and, at the same time, an action urging them to get out of it at once, the statement said.

The statement called for waging a dynamic anti-U.S. and anti-fascist struggle, bearing deep in mind what the participants in the resistance desired.

It also called upon all the people to stage a vigorous struggle for frustrating the U.S. forces' ambition for their permanent presence in south Korea and achieving independence against the U.S.
