Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- The death toll by cholera is increasing in Haiti.

The number of cases infected with cholera increased to about 500,000 since October last year across the country 6,435 of whom lost their lives, said the country's Health Ministry on Sept. 30.

The government keeps taking measures to control the epidemic of the disease.
