Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a message of thanks on Sept. 23 from Chairman Andreas Hugo Pareira and Secretary General Tjahjo Kumolo of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle.

The message expressed thanks for the successful visit to the DPRK by the delegation of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle led by General Chairwoman of its Central Directive Council Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Both sides exchanged views on the issues of mutual concern at the talks held in a friendly atmosphere, the message said, adding that the Workers' Party of Korea is a great party as it has wisely led the struggle for building socialism and independence of the nation under the banner of the Juche idea.

The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle hopes that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and the two parties will grow stronger, the message noted.
