Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- The Kim Man Yu Hospital in Pyongyang has made fresh achievements in clinical treatment through joint researches with educational and scientific institutions, including Kim Il Sung University and the State Academy of Sciences.

The hospital succeeded in making artificial blood vessels with raw materials available in the country and in treating mitral stenosis without operation.

It also invented an apparatus for widening narrowed blood vessels and developed a new material for blood purification.

Meanwhile, the hospital developed Myongsim injection efficacious for heart disease and new methods of molding atrium and eardrum.
