Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- The Yanbian youth football team of China had friendly matches with DPRK teams in Pyongyang.

The Yanbian team played the last match with the youth team of Korea University of Physical Education at Kim Il Sung Stadium on Wednesday, with the latter winning the match 2:1.

Earlier, the Yanbian team played three matches with the youth team of the Kigwancha Sports Team and two matches with the youth team of Korea University of Physical Education.

Yun Myong Ho, senior coach of the Yanbian team, told KCNA that he gained important experience through the friendly matches, which would be helpful to his team in scoring good results in a national tournament after returning home.

The Yanbian team arrived in Pyongyang on September 20.
