Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- The Sukchon Jinsong Garment Factory went operational in South Phyongan Province.

It was built thanks to the friendly and fraternal cooperation between the DPRK and China.

All its processes including cutting, processing and finishing are equipped with latest facilities.

Its inaugural ceremony took place Wednesday.

Attending it were Ho Thae Gwon, vice-minister of Light Industry, Choe Yong Nam, director of the Jinsong Joint Venture Company, officials in Sukchon County, employees of the factory and Tsang Chung, general manager of the Hong Kong, China, Wah Shing International Industrial Ltd., and other officials concerned.

Sin Chun Ok, manger of the factory, addressing the ceremony, said that the factory would increase the quality of goods and production and contribute to the development of the nation's trade in garment processing.

At the end of the ceremony its participants looked round production processes of the factory.
