Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- Meetings, seminars, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Mexico and Ethiopia on Sept. 29 on the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 85th anniversary of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.

Displayed in the venues were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and photos on the undying feats they performed in party building, books and photos on the achievements made by the Korean people in socialist construction.

The general secretary of the C.C., People's Socialist Party of Mexico who is chairman of the Mexican National Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung said:

The President founded the WPK and strengthened it into an ever-victorious iron-willed party and a mass political party which struck deep roots among the popular masses.

Kim Jong Il has worked heart and soul to strengthen the WPK into the eternal party of the President.

The secretary general of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea praised the WPK as the ever-victorious party which has led the revolution and construction to victory, taking the immortal Juche idea founded by the President as the guiding idea.

The reality of the DPRK is displaying the validity and invincibility of the leadership of the WPK, he stressed.
