Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The young people are the successor to the revolution and the master of the future, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says in a by-lined article.

The future of the Korean revolution is bright as there is a large contingent of young people who have grown up, receiving Juche-oriented education under the care of the party, the article says, and goes on:

The young people of the DPRK are like human bombs devotedly defending the party and the leader. They play the role of a shock brigade in making a breakthrough in the socialist construction sites and stand on the first line in the drive for pushing the frontiers of the latest science and technology, fully demonstrating the dignity and honor of Juche Korea.

The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by leader Kim Jong Il is an ever-victorious banner for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

It is the militant spirit of the young people to perform heroic feats while sounding rivers and mountains when the party sounds a wall. They built many monumental structures including the Anbyon Youth Power Station and the Youth Hero Motorway during the Arduous March, weathering hardships and difficulties in the revolutionary soldier spirit.

It is the ideological and moral traits of the young Koreans in the era of Songun to work hard to be patriots who leave clear traces of their lives in their autobiographies so that they may be remembered by posterity.

A new history of prosperity of Pyongyang is being made in the construction of apartment houses in Mansudae area. A pitched drive for increased production is now under way in the Songjin Iron and Steel Complex, the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and the Ryongsong Machine Complex. All this would be unthinkable without a vanguard role of our young people.

The day when the country will enjoy grandeur and prosperity will come earlier as scheduled as the party reposes such deep trust in the young people as entrusting any difficult and vast project of the socialist construction to them and ranks of several million young people are working hard to live up to its trust with loyalty.

The country is proud of having the young people who take the lead in providing the shortcut to building a thriving nation.
