Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received floral baskets and congratulatory letters from the diplomatic corps and the military attaches corps here on the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The baskets and letters were conveyed to Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and an official concerned by Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Valery Sukhinin, doyen of the diplomatic corps, and Sun Yanfeng, military, naval and air attache of the Chinese embassy who is a doyen of the military attaches corps, on Thursday.
