Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- Members of the Citizens Measure Committee for Revival of Pusan Economy of Han Jin Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. of south Korea and assemblymen from opposition parties in Pusan region denounced the conservative group for their moves to check the struggle for vital rights. They held a news conference in the plaza outside the Pusan City administration building on Oct. 4.

A declaration in the name of over 650 personages of civic and public organizations and political parties in Pusan was read out at the news conference.

The declaration said people from all walks of life are going to gather in Pusan to launch the struggle demanding the settlement of the incident of Han Jin Heavy Industry Co. Ltd.

A conservative organization was disclosed through media to have planned to check the struggle backed by police, the declaration said.

The declaration expressed surging anger at the plot of the conservative group to use violence to check the struggle for vital rights.

Thorough investigation into the plot is needed, it urged.

Different civic and public organizations and opposition parties in Pusan fully support the struggle against the dismissal by the company, it said, adding they would do everything they can do for its settlement.
