Promising Juvenile Football Players

Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The DPRK U-16 football team includes up-and-coming players. Among them are Choe Ju Song, Ri Kwang Song and Kim Il Jin who scored several goals in Group E preliminaries for the 2012 Asian U-16 Football Championship. They learned football in primary school and in juvenile sports school. They distinguished themselves in domestic tournaments like the National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize and the National Games of Juvenile Sports Schools. Choe, good at dribbling and goal-in, won four goals in the match with the East Timor team and two goals in the match with the Malaysian team. Ri scored four goals, while Kim made three. They told KCNA that they would train hard to make a good job in future games and live up to the expectation of the country and people. They are all fifteen years old. |
