Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The housing construction in Mansudae area, Pyongyang, is progressing rapidly.

In the wake of the completed frame project of a 45-storied apartment building, some other buildings had their roof covering finished.

An official in charge of the housing construction told KCNA that the frame project of the apartment buildings has reached more than 70 percent.

Along with the frame project, interior and external plastering is going on in all buildings.

New apartment blocks and public buildings will appear soon in downtown Pyongyang.
