Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The 2011 U-19 Asian Woman Football Championship began in Vietnam on October 6.

Taking part in the championship which will last until Sept. 16 are the DPRK, China, Vietnam, Australia, Japan and south Korea.

The DPRK team defeated the south Korean team 2:1 at the match held on Thursday.
