Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- A seminar on the Juche idea for national independent development was held at Darkhan University of Technology of Mongolia on Sept. 30.

Present there were officials of the Darhan Ol Provincial Branch of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, teachers and students of the university and Juche idea followers.

A report and speeches were made on the subjects of the originality and vitality of the Juche idea, its worldwide dissemination and the struggle of the Korean people for the independent development of the country and the nation in the recent years, etc.

The reporter and speakers explained and proved that the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung is the original revolutionary philosophy which scientifically clarifies the position and role of man in the world.

The reality of the DPRK in which the Juche idea has been successfully applied under the tested leadership of the President and Kim Jong Il is inspiring the Mongolian people and the world progressives aspiring after the independent development, they noted.

Pointing out that the Juche idea is being studied and disseminated worldwide, they expressed full support for the proposal for convening a world conference on the Juche idea in Pyongyang on the centenary of birth of the President.
