Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification made public a statement on Oct. 4 on the 4th anniversary of the October 4 declaration.

The adoption of the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing the June 15 joint declaration, brought the people hope for reunification, the statement said.

However, the present chief executive totally denied the inter-Korean declarations supported by all Koreans and the international community, it stressed.

It accused the conservative ruling forces of arresting and putting in custody the patriotic figures active for reunification and staging ceaseless military exercises against the DPRK.

It called on all forces aspiring after independence, democracy and reunification to get firmly united to bring down the sycophantic and treacherous regime and achieve national reunification without fail under the banner of the joint declarations.
