Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Opposition parties and civic and public organizations in South Kyongsang Province of south Korea held a meeting in Changwon on Wednesday slamming the authorities for working hard to conclude FTA with the U.S.

Speakers at the meeting said that FTA is to leave the manpower of south Korea to the tender mercy of the U.S.

The FTA contains such humiliating clauses as making it impossible for any law of south Korea to control foreign capital infiltrating into south Korea, they noted, and went on:

Unable to make up for the deficit which has snowballed for a long time, the U.S. is making arrangements for fresh plunder. South Korea is one of its targets.

The present chief executive and the "Grand National Party" are making desperate efforts to conclude the humiliating agreement. We will surely punish those forces.

All the people will turn out in the struggle to check the conclusion of FTA.
