Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Saturday dedicates a signed article to the first anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il's work "The Workers' Party of Korea is the Great Party that Victoriously Carries the Revolutionary Cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung to Completion".

The work, published on October 8, 2010, says that the WPK ushered in a new great surge in revolution and construction, in the efforts to win fresh victory of revolution through the Songun revolutionary leadership and the Songun politics by developing the idea of giving importance to the army and the Songun idea of President Kim Il Sung.

The work reflects the iron will of Kim Jong Il to realize the idea and the cause of the President to the last by strengthening the party and steadily enhancing its leadership role.

The work serves as an inspiring banner as it instilled redoubled strength and courage into the army and the people of the DPRK advancing toward the new victory of the Juche-oriented revolution, true to the spirit of the WPK Conference, the article says, and goes on:

The socialist cause of Juche started by the President is advancing on a new and higher stage in its development under the leadership of Kim Jong Il. For the WPK, the leader's idea means the idea of the party and the leader's leadership the one of the party. The history of building a revolutionary party of the working class knows no such party as the WPK which holds in high esteem the great founder and builder of the party as the eternal leader and which firmly ensured the uniqueness of the idea and the leadership generation after generation and led the socialist cause to victory.

The party's leadership is the lifeline of the uninterrupted revolution. There is no other road for us than carrying out the revolution to the last under the uplifted red flag of socialism.

Juche-oriented socialism advancing under the leadership of the party is a science and victory. Steadfast is the faith of the army and the people as they are ready to keep to the road of revolution started by the President under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The paper calls upon all of them to get united around the WPK Central Committee headed by Kim Jong Il, powerfully demonstrate the spirit of Songun Korea and make the DPRK shine more brilliantly as the socialist power of Juche.
