Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Southern and Central Vietnam recently suffered from flood accompanied by heavy rains. The flood left 13 persons dead and five others wounded as of October 4.

In addition, almost 30,000 houses were inundated and thousands of hectares of rice and crop fields destroyed.

Flood damage caused by heavy rains is expanding in Cambodia.

Death toll reached 164 and 215 600 houses were damaged as of October 4 due to the flood that hit the country since early August, according to the government release. 291,000 hectares of paddy fields were wasted and more than 2 200 km-long roads destroyed.
