Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Wednesday sent a message of greeting to Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, president of Uganda, on the 49th anniversary of its independence.

Kim in the message expressed belief that the long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow stronger in the future.

He wished the president and the people of Uganda greater success in their work to consolidate the political stability of the country and achieve the economic development.
