Tehran, October 8 (KCNA) -- Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in an interview with a TV on October 5 scathingly criticized the NATO's plan to deploy missile defense system in Turkey.

The main goal of NATO to deploy Missile Defense Shield in Turkey is to occupy territories of other countries and defend the Zionist regime on the decline, he said.

NATO does not like regional countries to achieve progress, he noted.
