Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Lawmakers from opposition parties of south Korea called a press conference on Oct. 7 to express their stand against the conclusion of the humiliating south Korea-U.S. "Free Trade Agreement".

The FTA with the U.S. is in line with only the interests of American businesses, they pointed out.

Conclusion of this traitorous agreement, woven with poisonous clauses threatening the living of south Koreans, can never be allowed, they said.

They declared that they would make every possible effort to prevent the passage of a "motion on the ratification of FTA" through the "National Assembly".

They said that they would send a letter of protest demanding halt to its conclusion to U.S. Congress.
