Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association issued Bulletin No. 5 on the 66th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The bulletin carried an article titled "66th Founding Anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea." It said that President Kim Il Sung directed big efforts to building the party, the army and the state after Korea's liberation, adding he founded the WPK on Oct. 10, 1945.

The WPK is a popular party which groups progressive fighters of different strata including workers, farmers and intellectuals, it noted.

Another article titled "West Sea Barrage" said the DPRK built the 8 km barrage in the wild sea in just five years in the 1980s.
