Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Senior party and state officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces institutions, ministries and national institutions Monday visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace to pay homage to President Kim Il Sung on the 66th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Laid before the statue of Kim Il Sung was a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

The participants paid their respect for Kim Il Sung.

They bowed in humble reverence to Kim Il Sung who developed the WPK into a powerful guiding force of the revolution and an invincible vanguard organization.
