Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Dancing parties of youth and students were held Monday in Korea on the 66th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The plazas of the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Arch of Triumph, the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and other dancing places were crowded with youth and students.

Songs "Let's Sing of Our Pride in Being under the Guidance of the General", "Please Receive the Best Wishes of People" and "Do Prosper, Era of the Workers' Party" resounded through the dancing grounds.

The young people danced to the tune of songs reflecting their thanks to general secretary Kim Jong Il who is glorifying the WPK as the eternal party of President Kim Il Sung.

Songs "It's the Pride of Our Party" and "I'll Dedicate My Youth to Country" added to the festive mood.

The dancers enthusiastically danced with the will to fully demonstrate the dignified appearances of young vanguard in the advance for a great surge for the improvement of people's living.

Similar dancing parties were held in different places including Phyongsong of South Phyongan Province, Hamhung of South Hamgyong Province and Wonsan of Kangwon Province.
