Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Mexican President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, addressing a regional meeting on Thursday, called upon the Latin American countries to strengthen the struggle against the organized crimes.

He was concerned over the fact that violence by organized crime groups has made Latin America the most violent region in the world.

He called on Latin American governments to do more to promote the rule of law and fight the criminals.
