Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the Ministry of Unification of south Korea formally started what it called Internet "Voice for Unification" allegedly aimed at "building up public opinion and spreading information" on unification. The ministry is set to air its programs with main stress on anti-DPRK propaganda materials produced by itself.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

This is a vicious political provocation against the DPRK as it is designed to block the independent reunification, peace and prosperity based on the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and realize the ambition to achieve "unification of systems" at any cost against the will of the nation.

The ministry seeks to massively air conspiratorial propaganda programs, far from drawing a lesson from the failure of the "policy toward the north" in a bid to cover up its crimes and justify its moves to escalate the confrontation.

It is the sinister aim sought by the conservative group in its start of the above-said broadcasting to calm down the ever growing desire to achieve the reunification through an alliance with the north in south Korea and turn it into an atmosphere of confrontation with the DPRK.

This is proved by the fact that by airing the above-said radio programs the mandarins of the ministry seek to peddle its proposal for "unifying systems" and show scenes dealing with the life of the human scum who betrayed the nation.

Confrontation maniacs leave no means untried to do harm to compatriots while persistently sticking to their anachronistic "policy toward the north." It is impossible to remove the distrust and defuse tension between the north and the south nor is it possible to improve the inter-Korean relations as long as these forces are allowed to stay in power in south Korea.

The conservative group will certainly have to pay for such reckless anti-reunification acts as blocking the nation's reconciliation and unity and the process for improving the inter-Korean relations and frantically agitating a war.
