Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Central Committee of Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League Wednesday issued a statement denouncing the U.S. imperialist aggression troops who committed sexual assaults against teenage schoolgirls of south Korea.

It said:

Some days ago, a GI in south Korea committed violence against a schoolgirl and not content with it, he tied her to rape.

On Sept. 17 another GI raped a schoolgirl in Mapho District, Seoul and ran away with her laptop.

These are hideous crimes against humanity disclosing once again the brutality of the U.S. imperialists accustomed to immorality and massacre.

The Central Committee of Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, on behalf of all the youth and students in the DPRK, bitterly denounces the sexual crimes by the GIs as an intolerable insult to all the south Koreans including youth and students and all other Koreans and as the second Yun Kum I case which shocked the world.

These cases are neither a matter confined to one or two south Korean schoolgirls nor an accidental crime committed by an individual GI.

They are an inevitable product of the U.S. forces' true nature as heinous aggressors who regard the south Korean people as colonial slaves whom they can kill and trifle with as they please.

They are also a result of the sycophancy towards the U.S. on the part of the south Korean puppet group who tries hard to prolong its remaining days by kowtowing to the U.S.

The U.S. imperialists occupied south Korea by force and inflicted untold misfortune and disasters on the south Korean youth, students and other people, strutting about as beings with extraterritorial rights.

It is the GIs who shot to death a girl picking edible herbs calling her a "pheasant" and gang raped a young girl by turns before strangling her to death. It is also the brutal GIs who ran an armored car over schoolgirls who were passing by in broad daylight and impudently excused themselves that they were in the middle of their military exercises.

Much upset by the protest of the angered south Koreans, the U.S. talked about "regret" and "apology". But this is nothing but a deceptive trick to cover up its true colors as an unheard-of manslaughter and chieftain of immorality and calm down the people's grievances.

As long as south Korea remains the U.S. colony and the humiliating south Korea-U.S. "Status of Forces Agreement" exists, the crimes by the U.S. troops will never cease.

The south Korean puppet group of traitors are scheming to hush up the recent case, obedient to the U.S. under the pretext of "alliance."

The reality clearly proves that young people, girls in particular, can neither bring into bloom their desire for learning nor evade as miserable fate as Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son as long as the puppet group of sycophantic traitors are allowed to stay in power in south Korea.

The south Korean society, where traitors lord it over under the jack boots of the outsiders, calls on the youth and students loving justice and patriotism to the sacred struggle for independence, democracy and reunification.

All the south Korean youth and students should turn out in the nationwide struggle to drive the U.S. imperialist aggression troops, chieftain of aggression and massacre, out of south Korea at once, put an end to the U.S. military occupation and colonial rule and wipe out despicable sycophantic traitors serving the U.S.
